A diary entry by Miranda about her mom,
As usual as always and painful as death for us, my mom had made a handbook to teach us more about money. She had been upto that from last month and I found mom reading books lately, I thought how and why, but later came to know she was learning proverbs for the undesired handbook.
Some points that the handbook included were:
REAL– Water, water, everywhere, not a single drop to drink.
MOM– Money, money, everywhere, not a single coin to spend.
REAL– Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.
MOM– Don’t count your expenditure before your salary.
REAL– Speech is silver but silence is gold.
MOM – ‘Sale’ is silver but ‘Free’ is gold.
